Washington, DC (March 15, 2006) – The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) announced its new Board of Directors today, whose members consist of educators and private sector technology experts from across the country. CoSN’s membership elected five new members to the board and reelected six members.
“The CoSN Board includes an unparalleled group of thinkers, innovators, educators and leaders to guide our organization this year,” said Sheryl Abshire, Administrative Coordinator of Technology, Calcasieu Parish School System, Lake Charles, LA, who continues as CoSN’s Board Chair. “I’m honored to continue as Board Chair. I look forward to working with these distinguished colleagues to further the strategic use of technology to improve teaching and learning.”
