Big things are happening for our CETL program

Big things are happening in our CETL program. If you haven't started studying for the exam yet, now's the perfect time. Why, you ask? A few reasons:

  1. Our new Online Collaborative Learning Site will make your exam prep more convenient and robust than ever. Study on your mobile device, join a study group, or simply take advantage of the enhanced multimedia offerings on our new site. The OCLS (not the catchiest acronym, we know) provides an in-depth exploration of each of the 10 essential skill areas in our Framework. The site has interactive elements to help make sure you're awake, because studying isn't always the most energizing of activities. Take advantage of our new multimedia links, reflection questions, and suggestions for further resources.
  2. It can be daunting to get started with CETL preparation; there's a lot of information swirling around. We've compiled a lot of the information you (and your superintendent) really need with our new CETL FAQ page. The less time you have to spend searching for information, the more time you can spend on that new learning site!
  3. Or maybe you want to talk to somebody about the CETL program. We're all fans of technology, but it can't replace a personal conversation with an expert. Our new CETL Ambassadors program will give you just that. Our current CETLs are incredibly passionate about their credential, and love to discuss the ways it's helped them in their careers. If you'd like to speak to an Ambassador, just let us know at certification@cosn.org. Our CETLs are a diverse group, and odds are one of them has been in the exact career situation you're in now.

We can't wait to see where the CETL program goes from here. As you start to think about professional development opportunities this summer, be sure to take advantage of our new offerings. Our Online Collaborative Learning Site and Ambassadors program will help give you a leg up in your exam preparation efforts. Take the first step now, and you can be certified before the next school year starts!
