Be sure to register here before early specials end on December 13. You will find all you need to know on www.cosnconference.org

We're excited to again welcome education technology experts from around the world to help frame and drive the discussion. Some highlights include:

  • Pre- and Post-Conference Events. The 2014 International Symposium, titled “Connected Learning – What Does This Mean for Formal Education?” will provide global perspectives and expertise on top issues. In addition, we'll host several pre-conference professional development workshops and post-conference exclusive learning tours of popular historic sites throughout Washington, including the Department of State, Library of Congress, Ford’s Theater, and the monuments.
  • Conference Sessions and Presentations. The bookend opening and closing plenary sessions will feature remarks about big data, digital learning, and disruptive technology. Scheduled keynote speakers include: the Honorable Bob Wise, President of Alliance for Excellent Education; Yong Zhao, Presidential Chair and Associate Dean for Global Education at the University of Oregon; and David Pogue, Tech Columnist for the New York Times. Attendees will also explore issues, trends, and practices during “Spotlight Sessions” and individual presentations.

We'll also be holding our first-ever CoSNCamp – an opportunity for attendees to meet informally throughout the conference. The Camp will combine fixed, pre-arranged sessions outside the main agenda with “in-the-moment” impromptu sessions based on concepts explored during sessions.
