CoSN 25th Anniversary

CoSN (the Consortium for School Networking) is the premier professional association for district technology leaders. For nearly 25 years, CoSN has provided leaders with the management, community building, and advocacy tools they need to succeed. This website was designed to showcase CoSN’s work over the past quarter of a century. While our official anniversary isn’t until 2017, we wanted to start building the momentum over the next few months.
Today, CoSN represents over 12 million students in school districts nationwide and continues to grow as a powerful and influential voice in K-12 education.
Check out some photos from CoSN over the years. Also, do you remember these inventions that were popular in 1992?

Technology innovations have turned education inside out in America’s classrooms over the past two and a half decades. In recognition of those innovations — and in celebration of its 25th anniversary — the Consortium for School Networking, in partnership with EdScoop, has created a virtual EdTech Time Capsule to honor 25 edtech innovations and innovators of the past 25 years.

The people, products, and developments featured in this EdTech Time Capsule were selected based on a national crowdsourcing project, where education and technology leaders were asked to nominate their recommendations in August 2017, and then asked to vote in October for their top choices. Winners were revealed in November.
