CoSN Urges Collaboration With Key School District Stakeholders for the Successful Integration of AI in K-12 Education
Washington, D.C. (April 24, 2025) — The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) welcomes the Trump Administration’s focus on preparing America’s students and educators to use artificial intelligence (AI). The April 23 executive order, “Advancing Artificial Intelligence Education for American Youth,” rightly recognizes the importance of building AI literacy and expanding workforce opportunities in this critical area.
“To ensure the effective and successful integration of AI in K-12 education, it is imperative that the voices of school district leaders, educators and other frontline practitioners are actively involved in shaping these initiatives. Their leadership and experience are crucial for developing practical, scalable strategies that will help students and educators navigate and leverage AI,” said Keith R. Krueger, CEO, CoSN.
CoSN urges the Administration to include all key stakeholders in the formation and implementation of AI education policies. We stand ready to collaborate, offering our expertise to ensure that AI advancements in education are both innovative and effective, preparing all learners for success in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
