Prepare Your District to Take the Next Steps With Generative AI
CoSN invites district cabinet-level teams to join us for the first-ever Gen AI District Leaders Action Summit, a hands-on session designed to help school districts confidently assess their readiness for Generative AI, unpack its possibilities and risks, and take the next steps in their AI strategy.
Participating districts will gain experience using the CoSN/CGCS Generative AI Maturity Tool to gauge their current readiness across seven domains, including:
- Leadership
- Operational
- Data
- Technical
- Security
- Legal/Risk
- Academic AI Literacy
Using their mission, vision, values, and supporting documents, districts will develop an understanding of the current state of their AI adoption, define a future state, and develop a prioritized 6- or 12-month roadmap for moving their district towards a higher level of AI maturity.
As with all CoSN trainings, this model is not about prescribing a single path or end goal; instead, this session offers a structured approach to help districts understand where they are and confidently plan their next steps.
Whether your district is just beginning its AI journey or already well on its way, this event will equip your team with the tools and guidance to make meaningful progress towards sustainable and responsible AI adoption aligned with instructional and operational goals.
