CoSN is hosting four events that offer more advanced training for districts and be designed to address the emerging cybersecurity challenges created in the transition to remote and hybrid learning environments. There are no pre-requisites for attending any workshop. You may participate in any workshop based on your school system's eligibility (details below) and state/need.
Cybersecurity WS 202: Leveraging Cybersecurity Resources on a Shoestring Budget
This workshop is designed to help resource-constrained school districts to identify and implement the most cost-effective approaches to building out a district cybersecurity program. A certificate of workshop completion will be provided. Participants are eligible for 7.5 CEA hours towards CETL certification.
When: February 2, 3, and 4, 2021 / 10:00am - 12:30pm ET each day.
Who: All school systems regardless of size. This workshop is closed to private companies.
Cost: $75 for members, $125 for non-members

Cybersecurity WS 301: Planning & Running Tabletop Incident Response Exercises
This workshop will guide districts in expanding their ability to execute incident response, including remote incident response, by learning how to train and practice response scenarios within their districts. A certificate of workshop completion will be provided. Participants are eligible for 7.5 CEA hours towards CETL certification.
When: April 20, 21, and 22, 2021 / 10:00am - 12:30pm ET each day.
Who: All school systems regardless of size. This workshop is closed to private companies.
Cost: $75 for members, $125 for non-members
